Volunteer Opportunities
Winning full equality in Washington State won't be easy, but we can do it with your help! ERW must build statewide support at a community level. We're seeking volunteers from 12 different areas around the state to be the presence of ERW on in the ground.
These volunteers will make up Equality Teams that will:
Help build a database of activists
Increase constituent contact with legislators
Solicit marriage stories
Plan town hall meetings
Represent ERW at local community events
Each Equality Team will be made up of at least five people:
We also need help in our Seattle home office! You (and your friends!) are welcome to join us for our weekly Volunteer Night every Wednesday from 6:00-8:00. Tasks include:
Data entry
Data management
Technical Support
Web/Communications
Graphic Design
Independently, you can also collect Marriage Equality Postcards! By having everyone you know (including yourself!) fill one out, you can help move this movement forward in a tremendous way. Simply click on the links below, print off as many copies as you need, and then send the completed postcards back to us (P.O. Box 12216, Seattle, WA 98122)!
